On Saturday 28 September, our Senior Leadership Team took part in the ‘Great Big Walk’, organised by Helping Herts, completing a 13.5mile loop around St Albans.
Helping Herts is a unique charity and the official charity of Stort Valley Rotary Club. They partner with 12 local charities supporting children from birth up to young adulthood.
So far, our Senior Leadership Team has raised over £2,000 for 12 amazing Hertfordshire children’s charities. Helping Herts is fortunate to have a match funding pot which means that the money raised can be doubled. This money will help many young people across the whole country to have a better start in life.
