Today our parent company M Group Services (‘the Group’), a leading provider of services to essential infrastructure markets in the UK, with a turnover of over £1bn, has announced the acquisition of Avonline Networks.
Avonline Networks is a specialist provider of telecom network build and installation services on behalf of network providers, alternative network operators and local authorities. Its service offering includes network survey and design, fibre optic duct and cable installation, splicing and testing together with consumer and business connections.
Following the acquisition, Avonline Networks will retain its brand identity and continue to operate as a standalone services business within M Group Services, extending the Group’s telecom division that includes Morrison Telecom Services and Magdalene, offering a complete end-to-end telecom network build and services portfolio across the UK and Ireland.
M Group Services Chief Executive Jim Arnold commented: “The next decade is set to bring the biggest expansion in UK telecom networks since the original BT copper build, driven by business and consumer demand for ultrafast broadband, public policy and government incentives.

Financial details of the transaction were not disclosed.
